Fitbit says the Luxe has a “jewelry-like look and feel,” with a high polish exterior achieved through a metal vaporizing technique. The company has used metal injection molding to create the fitness tracker’s steel case. The design has been made keeping in mind a “diverse range of wrist sizes and skin tones.”

A Fitness Tracker With Fashionable Design

The color touchscreen display on the Luxe can show your incoming calls and text notifications. It can also show your key health metrics while working out, including heart rate, the time elapsed, calories burnt, etc.

From a fitness tracker viewpoint, the Luxe is pretty packed. It features automatic activity tracking, sleep tracking, 24/7 heart rate tracking, and stress management tools. Right from the tracker, you can track 20 different workouts. The tracker lacks a dedicated GPS chip, so you will have to use your phone as a connected GPS to track your outdoor runs, hikes, etc.

The Fitbit app features a Health Metrics dashboard so that you can identify changes caused by increased stress or fatigue. This will be based on your breathing rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, skin temperature variation, and more. The tracker will also be able to measure your blood oxygen saturation levels in the future.

The Fitbit Luxe can track your sleep and give a Sleep Score based on that so you can understand your sleep quality. Fitbit Premium members will get deeper sleep analytics along with access to experimental features as and when Fitbit tests them.

Fitbit claims the Luxe offers a 5-day battery life, though this will vary depending on your usage.
