Early on in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, players will get their first type of pass. This Entry Pass, though, is only good for getting past the main gates in the lobby, requiring players to pursue the task of getting it upgraded at an upgrade machine. What makes this task difficult is the presence of Glam Rock Chica and various Security Robots roaming the lobby and gift shops.

This part of the game is the first real section where players are both freely roaming in an open area as Gregory and are at risk of being killed. Not properly checking the security cameras and planning routes can easily lead players to coming face to face with the metal jaws of death.
Entering the Main Lobby
After picking up the Entry Pass, players will be able to pass through the gates that separate the front part of the lobby from the main lobby. It is important to note that while the Janitor Robot in the front part of the lobby won’t actively pursue players, getting too close can cause it to alert Glam Rock Chica.
As previously stated, the main lobby contains multiple Security Robots and Glam Rock Chica roaming the grounds. Security Robots cannot kill the player and don’t have a large field of vision, but getting in one of their flashlight lights will cause it to set off an alarm alongside giving a jump scare. This alarm will let Glam Rock Chica where exactly the player is, requiring players to either quickly run away or hide.
Glam Rock Chica herself will charge players if she gets a good look at them. Players cannot use any of the gated parts of the gift shop as a defense, as they will automatically open for Glam Rock Chica if they come in between her and the player. Luckily, there are plenty of strollers that FNAF players can hide in. Players can additionally take advantage of the photo booths located at the top of the stairs.
Getting the Mr. Hippo Magnet
When entering the main lobby, players will want to hug the right side of the room as they make the journey up the stairs. Once upstairs, players can find the entrance to a gift shop. A singular Security Robot is inside, but Glam Rock Chica will not normally patrol inside this room. She will only enter if chasing the player inside.
Inside the gift shop, go into the back to find a staircase leading to the lower level of the shop. On a shelf is a present box containing a Mr. Hippo Magnet. This is required to upgrade the Entry Pass.
Upgrading the Entry Pass
After getting the magnet, players can find a button that opens the security doors blocking off the gift shop from the rest of the first floor. Press it and exit back to the front part of the lobby in order to save.
The next step is getting back to the second floor of the lobby. On the opposite side of the gift shop’s second floor is a restaurant that players need to cut through in order to get into the kitchen. There is a Security Robot located within the restaurant that players need to avoid.
Past the door to the kitchen is another door that leads to more employee-only areas. Follow the path of available doors to reach the room with the pass upgrade machine. It will initially eat the player’s Entry Pass, but using the magnet on it will cause the pass to be returned and upgraded to the Daycare Pass.
