Recalls are often announced to protect consumers from potential illness or injury.

Check the following product recalls to ensure you do not use or consume any of the recently recalled products.

Clorox Pine-Sol Scented Cleaners

Clorox issued a recall on multiple scented cleaners within the Pine-Sol brand on October 25, due to the potential presence of bacteria–Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

The bacteria is often found in soil and water but can cause risk of serious infection if individuals with weakened immune systems or external medical devices are exposed.

“The bacteria can enter the body if inhaled, through the eyes, or through a break in the skin,” the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said. People with healthy immune systems are usually not affected by the bacteria."
