Six of ESPN’s top 40 players in the 2017 class will make their decision Thursday, and Kentucky struck first by pulling in five-star center Nick Richards.

“The reason is that I wanted to play at the highest level, and Kentucky always said that they are the highest level in college basketball,” Richards said via ESPN.
The 6-11 center from Queens, N.Y., chose Kentucky over Arizona and Syracuse.
