Michigan State, Kansas and Arizona are the three schools that remain. What makes it more interesting is that all three programs have taken turns as the presumed leader. There was a thought that he would announce last Thursday, but due to certain family members not being able to be in attendance, he held off.

At the McDonald’s All-American game, where he was named co-MVP, Jackson did admit that he had made up his mind as to where he will play next season and will look to announce in the next two weeks. Fellow McDonald’s All-American and Arizona commit Kobi Jordan-Simmons released a video talking about how they were both Arizona bound, but kids will be kids.
That being said, the Wildcats were thought to have a slight advantage. Rumors are also starting to surface that Kansas made one last late push, and that Lawrence will be the destination. Meanwhile, fellow Michigan native and All-American Miles Bridges has been in Jackson’s ear about joining him at Michigan State.

It’s hard to take too much away from an All-Star game setting, but Jackson showed why he is considered to be one of the elite prospects in the country. The small forward had 19 points while stifling Duke commit Jayson Tatum on the defensive end. He will be a star at the next level and will certainly be an early candidate to be a one-and-done player.
In the end, he will have an impact on the college game no matter where he ends up. No one truly knows where that will be except Jackson. The rest of us will just have to wait.
