The Courier-Journal reported the women joined an existing lawsuit against Katina Powell filed by a student who said the book’s revelations diminished the value of her education. “Breaking Cardinal Rules” details the exploits of women Powell says were paid to dance for and have sex with Louisville basketball players and recruits — including Powell’s own daughters.

Kyle Hornback, a 19-year-old student at the school, filed suit last month with a complaint that Powell’s book had tarnished the university. She also is suing Powell’s co-author, Dick Cady, and the book’s publisher.

According to the Courier-Journal, Hornback’s attorney would like to make the effort a class-action lawsuit representing all of the university’s students.
