Recently, that list grew even larger with the announcement of some PlayStation-inspired skins featuring the likes of Astro Bot, Sackboy, and the iconic duo known as Ratchet and Clank. Currently, it’s not clear if PlayStation’s rival Xbox will be getting a similar treatment when Fall Guys eventually hits the competing consoles, but it’s not hard to imagine a few suitable candidates for crossovers.

Halo

Simply put, there is no Xbox without Halo. Microsoft’s flagship first-person shooter is arguably the face of the brand, and the faceless Master Chief is among the most recognizable characters in gaming.

A skin inspired by Master Chief would make the most sense should Fall Guys cross over with Halo, but the series also has loads of armor pieces and notable enemies like Elites, Brutes, and Grunts that would all make for solid cosmetics, too.

Gears of War

Another one of Xbox’s top franchises, Gears of War is filled with plenty of familiar, recognizable imagery that could easily be adapted into cosmetics for Fall Guys. Marcus Fenix’s signature bandana, the COG armor, or skins inspired by the fearsome Locust Horde would all be clean, family-friendly ways to represent this gruesome, violent franchise.

Viva Pinata

This fondly remembered Xbox 360 title probably won’t see a sequel anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be commemorated in some way, shape, or form. Viva Pinata boasts more than a handful of well-designed, cutesy pinatas that all match the wholesome aesthetic that Fall Guys radiates rather well.

Perfect Dark

A new Perfect Dark game is coming, but no one quite knows when. The series protagonist, Joanna Dark, has sported a few different looks since her introduction in Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64, and the character’s multiple outfits and hairstyles would likely work well as cosmetics in Fall Guys. Additionally, such a crossover would serve the dual purpose of reminding people of who Joanna Dark is ahead of the new Perfect Dark game.

Fallout

As a result of Xbox’s acquisition of Bethesda, notable series such as Doom, The Elder Scrolls, and Fallout are now considered exclusive franchises. With Xbox landing such huge names in gaming, it would make sense for the console manufacturer to want to flex its newly acquired muscles a little, and flaunting Fallout-inspired content in the Xbox version of Fall Guys might be a good way to do so.

The series’ trademark power armor would be a prime choice to feature in a hypothetical Fall Guys/Fallout crossover event, but Fall Guys is a very silly game. A more appropriate option might be to include a skin inspired by Fallout’s iconic Vault Boy, who always has an air of optimism despite Fallout’s incredibly dangerous, post-nuclear-war setting. The campy, over-the-top nature of the character is a perfect fit for Fall Guys’ hilarious, wacky premise, characters, and costumes.

Fall Guys is available now on PC and PS4. Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions are currently in development.
